Some chase medals. Others chase milestones. But for Manish Jaiswal, running is a quiet commitment — a promise to himself and to those he trains. In most races, he paces his trainees, guiding them step by step toward the finish line. Their success is his own. Every finish they cross is a victory he shares. a daily choice to be stronger than yesterday — in body, in mind, and in life.
There’s no dramatic moment that launched his journey, no cinematic turning point. Just the steady, unshakable desire to be healthy. That’s how it began — and that’s what still drives him. Each step, each breath, each mile is an act of strength. Not just muscle. But strength of purpose.
“Keep running till the last breath.”
That’s not just a quote from Manish — it’s the philosophy his shoes are soaked in. Whether he’s training under a Mumbai sunrise or pushing through a solo long run, Manish doesn’t chase trends or applause. He chases progress. Quiet, consistent, gritty progress.
Scaling Heights — Literally and Figuratively
Manish Jaiswal doesn’t just run — he conquers altitudes. His journey began with his very first full marathon at the formidable Ladakh Marathon. In 2022, he became a proud finisher of the Silk Route Ultra, a race where only a handful endure the grueling high-altitude terrain. But Manish’s impact goes beyond personal milestones. Under his guidance, many of his trainees have crossed the finish line at the Khardungla Challenge (72 km), as well as the Full Marathon, Half Marathon, and 11 km events at the Ladakh Marathon. He leads by example — and ensures others rise with him.
A Weekly Ritual of Resilience
His training isn’t loud or flashy. It’s built on rhythm, repetition, and respect for his own pace. Manish is the kind of runner who shows up — for the grind, for the sweat, and for the silence in between. Week after week, he laces up with a clear mind and an unwavering goal: become a better version of the person who ran yesterday.
And on the days when the alarm feels heavier than his legs? He remembers why he started.
“To be healthy.”
It’s that simple. And that sacred.
From Setbacks to Setbacks Conquered
Like every committed runner, Manish has faced challenges. Fatigue. Plateaus. Mental walls. He doesn’t dramatize them. He defeats them — slowly, steadily, just like he tackles his miles. If there’s pain, he meets it. If there’s doubt, he keeps moving anyway.
Behind this strength is a quiet mentor:Coach Savio, who helped guide Manish in his early days. Encouragement, accountability, and the right kind of push — it made all the difference. But ultimately, it’s Manish’s own drive that’s carried him forward.
Advice for the Starting Line
When asked what he’d say to beginners, Manish keeps it grounded:
“Start slowly and progress gradually."
It’s classic advice, but in his voice, it feels earned. There’s no need to rush. No need to compare. Just begin — and then keep showing up.
Sorgen in His Stride
Somewhere along his journey, Manish discovered Sorgen compression. He doesn’t gush about it. He just says “yes” — the gear works, it helps, it belongs in his journey. Simple as that.
That’s how everything seems to fit with him: naturally. Purposefully. Authentically.
Running with Identity, Not Just Intensity
If you take away the medals, the miles, the routines — Manish would still be a runner. Because running isn’t just what he does. It’s who he is. It’s the rhythm of his days, the anchor of his health, the expression of his discipline.
Ask him about dreams and he doesn’t talk about breaking records. He says,
“Keep running till last breath.”
In a world that chases finish lines, Manish runs to stay in motion.
